Aladdin (7/10)

As soon as this live action version of Aladdin was first announced, I was beyond excited as I have many fond memories of watching and re watching the original animated version of it during my childhood. The movie is somewhat different to what we might be expecting. Mena Massoud as Aladdin & Naomi Scott as Jasmine did a decent job. Will Smith as Genie was amazing. The cinematography and animation in the movie were commendable. Although there were just too many songs which made it a bit boring. All in all, Aladdin is certainly an entertaining effort and would recommend the Disney fans out there to relive your childhood again.

Avengers: End game (8.5/10)

After Avengers Infinity War, we came up with multiple theories about how the story would go on, how our heroes would turn back, what would be the end of Thanos. To those who don’t know what happened in Infinity War, the Avengers in End game along with their allies must be willing to sacrifice everything in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his motive of devastation puts an end to the universe. Those three hours in the theatre was a full roll coaster ride of emotions. All the actors in the movie did an amazing performance. Few things in the storyline didn’t add up, but that’s what you should expect from a fiction film. The Marvel legend Stan Lee has a cameo just as the tradition follows. The saddest thing about this is there is no end credit scene which puts up a big question mark about Marvel’s future.

Joker (9/10)

I decided to go watch Joker and I have only one word “MASTERPIECE’. Joker is about a forever alone in a crowd, failed comedian Arthur Fleck who seeks connection as he walks the streets of Gotham City. It’s synchronously difficult to watch and yet, impossible to take your eyes off Joaquin Phoenix in this film. Everything about this movie; the story, the acting, the directing, the visual/audio effects, everyone brought their A game and Joaquin Phoenix and Todd Philips definitely deserves a nod and win for this masterpiece. And I can only pray for a sequel, maybe one with batman? My hopes are too high at this point, but nevertheless, its a brilliant goddamn movie and THE BEST joker ever played hands down.
